Drawing 2 gives an overhead view of the same structure. The projector apparatus (not shown) would be in the middle of the structure. To the right, the "unrolled" section of wall is depicted, the wall inclines to follow the distortion of the projected image. The audience can enter the struture here. Ideally, this structure would be built in a corner. Materials could be a combination of pegboard and coreplast. Pegboard could be used on the wall sections facing into the corner, allowing spots of light to dapple the wall (see drawing 2). Coreplast could be used for the outside facing wall sections. being translucent, the audience would be able to view the projection from outside the structure, as well as inside. |
